There are many excellent restaurants, pubs, discos and night clubs in Szczecin.
STETTIN Restaurant & Shopping GUIDE often arrange
s "pub and
disco-crawls", where you will get a guided tour and can experience all the
best places. The guided tour is free of charge, but you have to pay the expenses
for our guides. That is often about 15.00 Euros for a whole evening covering
beer, drink, taxis and whatever you would like to drink.
Restaurants
All restaurants in STETTIN Restaurant & Shopping GUIDE or on this web page
are good and among the best in Szczecin. Poles do not go out very often because
of their financial situation and it’s normal that they only buy one dish or
drink 1-2 beers in an entire evening. You can get full in the best restaurants
for less than 7 Euros and a beer only cost around 1 euro. Therefore, foreigners
are eating and drinking a little bit more than Polish people. This means that
foreigners demand more service than the restaurants are used to.
STETTIN Restaurant & Shopping GUIDE reserves many tables for tourists. This gives you better service due to the fact that the restaurant knows that you are coming and therefore can arranging for additional waiters. You will also get a better table than if you book yourself or go in directly from the street. We also know which tables are the best and the restaurant will know that the waiter has to speak English or German.
All restaurants are carefully selected, and we make a big effort to know the restaurants menu card and speciality. We help many foreigners make special arrangements and one can save a lot of money by moving their party to Poland. The quality of the restaurants is outstanding, the Polish cooking is delicious and the service is good. So, if you are considering arranging a birthday party, bachelor party, anniversary party, wedding, a seminar, sales meeting or any other big event, then you can invite your friends on a free holiday (including the party) for the same price that the party would cost at home.
We would
very much like to hear from you if any of the restaurants do not live up to your
expectations. In such a case, we will test the restaurant ourselves and have a
talk with them. We only want to have the best restaurants in the guide and the
restaurant will be excluded from the next edition if they are not living up to
our standards.
Discos
There are many excellent discos in Szczecin, but it can be difficult to know
which days they are crowded and if the disco has arranged something special.
Entrance usually cost 5 Euros per person and a table, which typically seats 4-12
people, is 10.00 Euros. The discos
keep us up to date regarding special arrangements, and therefore we always know
where to go. We also have free entrance cards for tourists and we can book a
free table for you and some places even give a 5% discount if you order at the
table. A bottle of vodka with juice cost app. 30.00 Euros, so it is possible to
go out for “real” for almost nothing. It can also be noted that the polish
girls are nice and slim and that the polish guys like to dance!
Gentleman’s
Clubs
There are, of course, striptease and gentleman clubs
in Szczecin. The clubs are generally clean and safe and most taxi drivers know
where they are. You have to make sure that the taxi driver is not cheating you.
They will often stay and wait outside while the taximeter is running, so be sure
that they stop he taximeter while they are waiting. STETTIN Restaurant &
Shopping GUIDE does not arrange guided tours to the clubs, but we know where
they are located and you are, of course, welcome to give us a call if you have
any questions.
